11 Ticket Booths Outside Terminal will Be Closed Down

The city administration will close down ticket booth outside the terminal in order to eliminate illegal terminal in the capital. All fleets and ticket sales should be in the terminal.

Jakarta Transportation Dept Head, Andri Yansyah disclosed that would send a letter to Jakarta One-Stop Integrated Agency (BPTSP) to not renew permit for 11 ticket booths outside terminal. As known, its validity period will expire in the upcoming October and December.

"I'll send coordinate with BPTSP to cut operational permit for ticket booth outside terminal. We want Otobus Company (PO) bus operates inside terminal, but not in illegal terminal," he stated, Tuesday (6/14).

Illegal Terminal Controlling to Be Done Fully

According to him, such effort aims to follow up complaint of the bus management, which will operate in Pulogebang Terminal. They did demonstration on Monday (6/13) yesterday, to protest the existence of illegal terminal, including five ticket booths outside terminal in East Jakarta.

As known, the 11 ticket booths outside terminal are PO Gunung Harta at Jalan Raya Bekasi KM 21 No. 18 (North Jakarta), PO Raya at Jalan Raya Bekasi No. 14 (North Jakarta), PO Garuda Mas Cabang Jakarta at Jalan Raya Bekasi No. 11-11A (North Jakarta), PO Gunung Harta at Jalan Supriyadi, Rambutan (East Jakarta), PO Kramat Djati Cabang Jakarta at Jalan Ciputat Raya No. 190 (South Jakarta) and at Jalan Raya Bogor No. 1 Kramat Jati (East Jakarta).

There are also PO Primajasa at Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo No. 32 Cawang (East Jakarta), PO Safari Dharma Raya at Jalan Raya Kebayoran Lama No. 40 (South Jakarta), PO Sinar Jaya in three locations, namely Jalan DI Panjaitan No 12 (East Jakarta), Jalan Pemuda No. 7 (East Jakarta) and Jalan Raya Pasar Jumat, RT 08/07 (South Jakarta).
